For the Cookies:
- Cream together the butter and the sugar.
- Put the baking soda into the milk and then add to the butter and sugar mixture.
- Add vanilla to the mixture.
- Mix the salt and flour together and slowly add to the butter and sugar mixture.
- Once all the flour is added, the dough should not stick to the sides of the bowl. If the dough sticks, keep adding a little more flour.
- Add the white chocolate chips.
- Place the dough on wax paper. Roll it into a foot-long roll, and put it in the fridge for an hour.
- Remove the dough from the fridge and separate it into 3 sections. Use one section at a time for making your paw prints.
- Roll the dough flat so it is 1/4-inch to 1/2-inch thick. Roll the dough between two sheets of wax paper to make it easier.
- With the cookie cutters, cut out one large circle, and three small circle. Together these form one paw. Repeat to make as many paw print cookies as you can.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and bake for 8-10 minutes!
-
For the Icing:
- Put a few spoonfuls of powdered sugar in a bowl and add a few drops of your favorite food coloring.
- Add two drops of water at a time and mix it with the powdered sugar until the icing is smooth, but still thick.
- Spread icing on cookies.
