What you do:
- For the recipe: Melt the butter and stir in the cocoa. Allow the mixture to cool. Beat the eggs and add the sugar gradually. Add the vanilla gradually. Stir in the cocoa mixture. Gradually add the flour and baking powder. Grease an 8-inch round pan and pour the mixture in. Cook at 325 degrees for about 25 minutes. (Until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.)
- For the chocolate icing: Mix 1/2 cup of powdered sugar, 2 tbsp of water and cocoa powder in a bowl until smooth. Pour onto the brownies and spread with a spatula or butter knife.
- For the vanilla 'spider web' icing: Mix 1/4 cup powdered sugar and water in a bowl. When the mixture is smooth, use a squeeze bottle to draw five hexagons on the brownies - getting increasingly larger from the center. Draw lines between the points on the hexagons.
- Drag a toothpick across the lines gently to pull the white icing through the chocolate icing.
- Add a jellybean for a spider and two chocolate candies for bugs stuck in the web.
- Eat up!
These brownies look creepy but taste totally YUMMY!
