Tender Leaf Cookies

What you need:
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup icing sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • Green food coloring

What you do:

  • Cream the butter and icing sugar. Gradually, add the flour and baking powder. Beat until the dough forms a ball. Add the green food coloring. Make leaf-shaped cookies, about 1/4-inch thick, out of the dough. You can use a leaf-shaped cookie cutter or simply form the cookies by hand. Bake at 325 degrees until golden around the edges.
 
 
You can tint this dough different colors with food coloring!
