What's the difference between KinzChat PLUS and KinzChat?: The only difference between KinzChat PLUS and KinzChat is the way you chat. In KinzChat PLUS, you can type in your own messages by using words from our restricted word dictionary. In KinzChat, you can use our trusty system of pre-constructed sentences and phrases to share messages with your friends. KinzChat PLUS is designed for our older members and KinzChat is designed for our younger members. Both parts of the Clubhouse are lots of fun!

How do I get permission to access KinzChat PLUS?: In order to play in KinzChat PLUS, your child must go to the Clubhouse and enter the KinzChat PLUS area. From the Kinzchat Plus area, your child will be asked to e-mail you, and request permission to access Kinzchat Plus. If you allow your child to play in the KinzChat PLUS area, they will get a KinzPost letter in their room granting them access to KinzChat Plus.

How do I turn off my child's access to KinzChat PLUS?: Please check the Parent's Area for information about how to turn off your child's access to KinzChat PLUS.

Are there different activities in KinzChat PLUS and KinzChat?: No, the activities in the KinzChat PLUS and KinzChat areas in the Clubhouse are exactly the same. The only difference between the two areas is the way you talk to your friends. **OK FOR NOW, BUT THIS IS GOING TO CHANGE IN THE FUTURE**

How do I find my friends in the Clubhouse?: To find your friends in the clubhouse, use the "FIND MY FRIENDS" dropdown menu on the screen where you choose which room to visit in the Clubhouse. You will be able to find out if any friends are in the same part of the Clubhouse as you and which rooms they are visiting.

How do I go to a different room?: You can change rooms at anytime by clicking the "Switch Room" button in the upper right corner of the room you are visiting.

How do I make friends in the Clubhouse?: In any Clubhouse room, you can open the "Webkinz in Room" menu to see who is in the room and to make friends with people. If you see a yellow smiley face next to the person's name, they cannot be added to your friend list. A green face with a little smile next to a friend's name means you can ask them to join your friend list. A green face with a big smile next to a friend's name means they are already your friend. If you want to allow people to be on your friend list, click the button "Click to allow invites." If you do not want people to be on your Friend list, click the button below the words, "Click to block invites."

I don't want people in the Clubhouse asking to be my friend - how do I make them stop?: If you want to allow people to ask to join your friend list in the Clubhouse, click the button "Click to allow invites." If you do not want people to be on your Friend list, click the button below the words, "Click to block invites."

What if someone said something inappropriate to me in KinzChat PLUS?: If someone says something inappropriate to you in KinzChat PLUS, please use the reporting tool to tell us all about it (the tool looks like a shield). We investigate many complaints and if we find that someone is misusing the system and saying inappropriate things, we will deal with it right away.
If we find someone has said something inappropriate, we will suspend them from the KinzChat PLUS area for 30 days. If this happens again, they will be suspended for 60 days and if it happens after their two previous warnings, they will be suspended from the KinzChat PLUS area of the Clubhouse permanently.

My child entered the wrong email address when asking for permission to play in KinzChat PLUS.: If your child entered the incorrect email address when they asked for permission to play in the KinzChat PLUS area of the Clubhouse, they will have to wait two weeks to try again. In the mean time, they can have a ton of fun playing in the KinzChat area. When your child does ask for your permission again, please help them enter your email address accurately.
