- What is DiceKinz all about?
- DiceKinz is a collectable dice game that can be played against friends or against the computer by clicking on the DiceKinz link in the “Things to Do” menu. Dicekinz is also accessible in the Tournament Arena.
The goal of the game is to be the first around the board. You do this by rolling your dice and using the powers, which appear on your dice to protect your Run dice, while at the same time knocking out your opponent's Run dice. At the end of each turn you move forward the number of squares equal to the Run points you have showing.
The game can be a little tricky at first. We recommend that you watch the Tutorial and read the Instructions before playing. You can play without buying any dice, but once you fully understand how to navigate the game, you can go to the W-Shop and buy your own dice to play with. There are 88 different dice to play with. Half the fun is deciding which dice to use!
- Do I have to buy DiceKinz packs to play?
- No. Anyone can play DiceKinz with the basic dice set that is included in the game. We recommend playing with this set a few times to become familiar with the game.
- How do I add dice to my Dice Collection?
- In order to add dice to your collection, you must purchase a Starter pack, a Booster pack and a Pet Pack from the W-Shop. You open the packs in your room like a gift and you will be told which dice you have received. The dice will NOT appear in your dock. To see your dice, go to the DiceKinz game in the Things to Do menu and then click on the "Dice Collection" button. All of your dice are there! Remember, you need to have at least six of your own DiceKinz dice before you can make your own dice pool.
- Hey! I opened a DiceKinz pack and it disappeared! Where'd my dice go???
- DiceKinz dice do not appear in your dock like regular items. To see your dice, go to the DiceKinz game in the Things to Do menu. Then click on the "Dice Collection" button. All of your dice are there!
- Do I get to keep my dice, or do I have to buy more each time I want to play?
- The dice you open are yours to keep and play with as often as you'd like. You can play DiceKinz without purchasing any dice, and can build your own pool of dice with as little as six dice - two booster packs or one starter pack!
- My friend got a Pet Pack that is not available for me. How do I get one?
- Most Webkinz pets have specific DiceKinz Pet Packs, just like they have specific foods. To get a pet's Pet Pack, you must have adopted that pet first. For example, to purchase the Monkey Pet Pack with the special Red Monkey Die, you have to have a pet monkey.
- How do I make my own set of dice to use?
- Go to Dice Collection on the front page of DiceKinz. Drag your dice to the six slots at the top of the Collection page. When you are happy with your set of dice, press the Save button. You will then use that set of dice in your future DiceKinz games. You can change your set of dice (we call it a dice pool) as often as you like. However, this cannot be done while you are playing the game.
- Is DiceKinz gambling?
- No. DiceKinz is a collectable strategy dice game. You can not wager or bet on or in DiceKinz in anyway. There is no gambling on Webkinz, and there never will be.
