Black Forest Sandwich

What you need:
  • A square cake
  • 3 cups of whipping cream
  • Chocolate shavings
  • Five fresh cherries
  • Maraschino cherries

What you do:

  • Cut the cake in half (horizontally). Mix one cup of whipping cream with maraschino cherries (lightly patted dry) and chocolate shavings. Spread it on top of the bottom layer. Place the top layer of cake on carefully. Spread whipped cream over the entire cake and dust with chocolate shavings. Add five fresh cherries on top. This cake needs to be refrigerated and keeps well for about two days.
